A review from the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Consumer Safety analyzed eight imported samples of 'Dubai chocolate', five within the UAE and three from Turkey. It observed that all eight samples ended up considered "defective". Five with the goods sampled contained fats besides cocoa butter, which isn't permitted in products labelled "chocolate"
